Hello

I'm Rachel, an Anthropology and Art & Design student at the University of Michigan. I'm passionate about UX Research and Design because I want people to have more positive experiences with technology.

When I was a kid, I always wanted to be an inventor. I would make countless doodles in my journals about devices that would make people's lives better. A stronger version of shark grabber toys to help reach high shelves, an at-home money printing machine to solve poverty, and a winged flying machine to make travel more fun were just a few of my ideas. Now, as an adult, I still want to use design to make life easier, more equitable & accessible, and more fun -- and UX Design is my outlet to do just that.

Technology, designers, and the teams they collaborate with have the power to improve people's everyday lives by tackling the problems they face. I'm committed to identifying those problems, researching their root causes and pain points, and designing effective, meaningful solutions.
